Okay, it's summer, I've been seriously slacking, but the eating has not stopped.
I have not tried all the pizza places I meant to try on my urbanspoon wishlist, but I'll get there eventually! I think work and the lazy days of summer (and this incredible heat) is slowing me down.
On another note, open 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the corner of Post and Edgewood Avenue (954 Edgewood Avenue South to be exact) where Dave's Diner used to be is a newly renovated place called Crazy Eggs. (Great name). No website as they just opened this week, but their phone number is 524-8711. Thanks to Jacksonville Confidential, more information can be found on his blog.
Happily, they offer breakfast all day (I love places where I can get a banana pecan waffle after the a.m.), brunch, and lunch, and offer fresh locally available organic ingredients. I'll be running over there very soon and will write here soon! (Running out for a waffle and tripping on a file......)
