It's a New Year, and I have many places to review this year! Here's one of my absolute new faves and a great way to kick off the new year.

Flavorful authentic Vietnamese food, great prices, modern clean environment - if this is what you are lookin for, you have found it! Located in the old Cheeburger location next to Yakety Yak in the Baymeadows are, this restaurant is just plain fantastic.

Now I've had Vietnamese food cooked by Vietnamese grandmas and moms at parties, and that was going to be very tough to beat. Never had Vietnamese food? Think slightly sweet, hints of spice or very spicy, fragrant herbs - it's delicious. Be adventurous and kick off your new year with this place. This restaurant does deliver great food- from their egg rolls, salads, famous beef noodle soups with variety of beef cuts to choose from, rice dishes, fried rice options, and chef's specials, there's a dizzying yet satisfying overall selections ranging from $3.50 - $11.95. I think that is ridiculously cheap - example, my family of 6 ordered bowl of pho beef noodle special ($8.25 for xtra large, slightly sweet and spicy), house special pan fried egg noodles ($10.95), grilled chicken (soo tender and slightly sweet), and bowl of pho special fried rice ($8.95) and with the .50 cents extra and tax, our total bill was only $37.95, and we had leftovers! My father in law keeps asking when we're having this again - a die hard Filipino food eater and he's asking for Vietnamese!

You can order to go for an additional .50 cents (to cover the special packaging to ensure the freshest food when you get home, ie soup broth packaged separately from the meat and items that go in it, brilliant) or just eat there. It's not a huge place but cozy. Just get there and enjoy!
