This is the cake my coworker did for my darling daughter's birthday this past weekend. Not only was it moist and delicious, the vanilla and chocolate flavors were distinct and pronounced; I love that she used organic cage free eggs and organic milk, too.
Thanksgiving is coming up, and we have finalized our menu - expect brined roasted turkey with five spice and honey, green beans drenched in butter and fresh mozzarella cheese, cornbread stuffin' muffins, sweet potato casserole, and homemade cranberry and apple sauce. Dessert will be gooey pumpkin cake (cross between a pumpkin pie and cake), cheesecake, and chocolate cake with English toffee buttercream.
