Wonder what food he'll serve up? Love the idea of the open kitchen, not enough of those out there. My new fave Picasso's has it, expect a new review at Examiner.com. I completely pigged out on a St. Louis foodfest last night, complete with fried ravioli, Kentucky Hot Brown, and topped off with their famous gooey butter cake (did I hear Scott Stegmaier say they sell almost 5,000 slices of that cake per week? If so, I'd believe it). I normally do not write about a restaurant twice, but this place deserves it. Slow food movement is strong where places like Picasso's buys food fresh (if a fresh whole fish snapper is available, guess what's for dinner??), and all is made by hand. I'm ecstatic we're getting more places like this! See, Jax is not only all chain restaurants, sheesh.
