When spring arrives and the pollen has calmed down (acchooo!), we love to wash down the outdoor furniture, prep the deck for outdoor entertaining, and start grilling! Tender pork marinated in a special Asian marinade on bamboo skewers, fried rice, and grilled zucchini topped yesterday's grill meal, and as if that was not enough, we had a community wide garage sale and sold the same BBQ for a buck each. They went like hot cakes! The secret? Okay, it's Mama Sita marinade found at your local Asian food store. Or you can make your own, soy sauce, brown sugar, pineapple juice, and few cloves of minced or crushed garlic; just marinate overnight for maximum yumminess.
So take your allergy medicine and get outdoors! Your family (and your appetite) will love you for it.
